Poor Chicken, all she wants to do is take a nap but every time she finds a good sleeping spot something goes terribly wrong. Will Chicken ever get to snooze?
Why I Love this Book
Chicken Wants a Nap is a perfect read-aloud. At story time, the kids were able to interact with the story by celebrating with Chicken on good days (we shouted “Hooray!”) or feeling sad and rooting for Chicken on bad days (we pouted “Poor Chicken!”).
The ending is hilarious and had the children giggling. The story is long enough to entertain yet short enough to read again and again, which is exactly what we did!
It’s a good day to share Chicken Wants a Nap with your little ones. Buy it here!
