Pixar’s 22 Rules for Storytelling

Storytelling (and writing picture books) is an art and is complex in it’s seemingly simplicity. So, who better to learn from than Pixar? Read and start implementing these tips to turn your good writing into great writing. Number 7 and 12 are big for me—knowing the ending before I start writing a new story helps propel me forward. And I know if I reach beyond my first thought, if I think deeper, broader, wider, the story path will surprise me. What tips resonate with you?
